("Pakheraa Journeys", "we", "us", "our") website and all services booked through it, including trekking and tour packages, flight booking assistance, visa application assistance, vehicle rental services, and our hotel/travel partner program. By browsing this website, making an enquiry, or completing a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About Us

3. Booking & Confirmation

A booking is only confirmed once you receive written confirmation from us (via email or WhatsApp) and, where applicable, we have received the required deposit or full payment. Prices, availability, and itineraries shown on the website are indicative and subject to change until confirmed in writing.

You are responsible for reviewing all booking details (dates, names as per passport, destinations, vehicle type, flight routing) before confirming. Please check all details carefully — corrections after confirmation may incur additional charges from us or our third-party suppliers (airlines, hotels).

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in NRS (Nepalese Rupees) unless stated otherwise and are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed. Accepted payment methods are listed on our Payment page and may include bank transfer, eSewa, Khalti, and card payments where available.

For package and rental bookings, we may require a deposit to confirm your booking, with the balance due before the service date. Full payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (email or WhatsApp). Refunds, where applicable, are processed according to the following general schedule, unless a more specific policy was communicated to you in writing at the time of booking:

• 30+ days before the service date: full refund minus any non-refundable third-party costs (e.g. permits, flight tickets already issued).
• 15–29 days before: 50% refund.
• Less than 15 days before, or no-show: no refund.

Flight tickets, visa fees, and permit costs are generally non-refundable once issued/submitted, as these are governed by the airline's or government authority's own policy, not ours.

6. Changes to Your Booking

We will do our best to accommodate changes to dates, group size, or itinerary, subject to availability and any additional costs charged by our suppliers. Changes requested close to the service date may not always be possible.

7. Traveler Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Holding a valid passport (with at least 6 months' validity) and any required visas.
• Meeting the health and fitness requirements for your chosen trek or activity — some treks involve high altitude and physical exertion.
• Arranging your own travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and high-altitude evacuation where relevant. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all trekking and international bookings.
• Complying with the laws and customs of Nepal and any other country visited.

8. Flight Booking Terms

Flights booked through us are subject to the fare rules, baggage allowance, and change/cancellation policies of the operating airline, not Pakheraa Journeys. Once a ticket is issued, changes or cancellations are handled per the airline's policy and may incur airline fees in addition to any service fee we charge.

9. Visa Application Assistance Disclaimer

We provide guidance and document support for visa applications, but visa issuance is at the sole discretion of the relevant embassy, consulate, or immigration authority. We do not guarantee visa approval, and application/service fees are non-refundable regardless of outcome.

10. Vehicle Rental Terms

Rental vehicles must be used in accordance with the terms agreed at the time of booking, including any driver, fuel, mileage, and route conditions shown on the vehicle's listing. A security deposit may be required and will be refunded after the vehicle is returned in its original condition, less any deductions for damage, missing fuel, or traffic/parking violations incurred during the rental period. The renter is responsible for valid driving documentation where a self-drive option is offered.

11. Hotel & Travel Partner Program

Businesses submitting a partner application agree that Pakheraa Journeys may review, approve, reject, or suspend their listing at its discretion. Approved partners are responsible for the accuracy of the information and images they submit. Listing as a partner does not create any exclusivity, agency, or employment relationship between the partner and Pakheraa Journeys.

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or failures to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, political unrest, strikes, pandemics, government restrictions, or airline/airport disruptions. In such cases, we will work with you in good faith on rescheduling or crediting where our suppliers allow it, but cannot guarantee a refund of costs already incurred with third parties.

13. Limitation of Liability

Pakheraa Journeys acts as an operator for our own guided packages and as a booking agent for third-party services (flights, hotels, visas). Except where caused by our own negligence, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, or default of any third-party supplier, including airlines, hotels, transport providers, or government authorities. Our total liability for any claim arising from services booked with us is limited to the amount you paid us for that specific service.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, photos, logos, and itineraries — is the property of Pakheraa Journeys or its licensors and may not be reproduced or used commercially without our written permission.

15. Privacy

Information you submit through our booking forms, partner applications, or enquiries is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to that handling.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal.
